Bite problems causing increased tooth sensitivity can often be treated by adjusting the bite or by use of a bitesplint if the problem is associated with a clenching or grinding habit. Sinus infections can also result in increased sensitivity of the upper teeth and if so, appropriate treatment by a physician is needed.
